Many special Speedmasters have been released in honour of NASA and its various missions, ever since the watch became the first and only worn on the Moon. This piece, however, is unusual in celebrating a private aeronautic venture, the extraordinary HB-SIA Solar Impulse. The Swiss-lead project aims to create and fly a plane around the world using only solar energy. This numbered edition features a titanium case and bracelet, as well as the Solar Impulse patch engraved on the caseback.
